The New Zealand property portfolio for Pro-Invest is set to double.

In an interview with RNZ, Pro-Invest founder and chairman Ronald Stephen Barrott shared that New Zealand is still the most desirable tourism destination in the world. This is also one of the primary drivers behind Pro-Invest’s growth strategy.

In order for Pro-Invest to find opportunities, Barrott mentioned that they are looking for tired hotels that can be brought up-to-date, not only in terms of their interior design and quality of services, but also in terms of sustainability. He mentioned that New Zealand had many opportunities to do this.

A proponent of sustainability, Pro-Invest wants to expand its portfolio of three recently built hotels in New Zealand, which includes the voco Hotel and Holiday Inn Express complex in Auckland, as well as the Holiday Inn Express in Queenstown. The company already owns three hotels in Auckland and Queenstown worth $400 million. They are keen to double this investment.
