Pro-invest Group celebrates the official opening of voco Queenstown
Pro-invest Group has celebrated the official opening of voco Queenstown, marking an exciting new chapter for the iconic Queenstown asset following its repositioning and transition to the voco brand.
The opening brings together a renewed hotel experience with the character of one of New Zealand’s most distinctive destinations, reflecting Pro-invest Group’s ongoing focus on creating and enhancing high-quality operational real estate.
Speaking at the opening, Ronald Stephen Barrott, Founder and Chairman of Pro-invest Group, reflected on the importance of long-term conviction in both place and asset:
“Queenstown is one of those places that people never forget. And buildings don’t become great hotels by accident. They start with a belief. A belief in a place, a belief in its people, and a belief that something good today can become even better tomorrow.”
The repositioning and brand transition were led by the Pro-invest Group team, including Tim Sherlock, CEO ANZ, and Kristi Wayman, Director of Design & Technical Services, working closely with project partners, advisors, contractors, consultants, operational teams and other stakeholders.
The transformation reflects the collaborative effort required to reposition an established hotel asset while creating a refreshed guest experience and strengthening its long-term potential.
Pro-invest Group thanks everyone who contributed their expertise, commitment and support to the project and looks forward to seeing the next chapter of voco Queenstown unfold.
