As a hotel developer, owner and operator, Pro-invest Group has the ability to adapt to change. We challenge conventional thinking,  experiment with new techniques and build hotels to high sustainability standards.

Pro-invest Group’s Holiday Inn Express -branded hotels were the first to roll out A Greener Stay in Asia Pacific.

The benefits of this environmental initiative include; reducing the cost of laundering bed linen and toweling, reducing water and energy consumption, waste production;  and savings on housekeeping costs. 

NABERS forms an important part of our overall Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) agenda, with the tool being easily understood, implemented and comparable across our portfolio. The NABERS tool is also strongly supported by a host of our valued stakeholders, as the need for energy and water efficiency becomes ever more crucial at an investment, development and operating level.

Sustainable returns are well within reach. But we must act with haste by not only looking at new builds, but also at the possibilities that existing assets hold for ESG repositioning, as it will prove very difficult to manage a real estate portfolio on failing foundations.
